At the recent CINS Board Meeting in Copenhagen, Uffe Ernst-Frederiksen (Head of Cargo Management, Maersk Line) was elected as President for a second term. The CINS Presidency lasts for 3 years, so the second term will commence on 1 January 2017 and end on 31 December 2019.
In accepting his nomination as President, Uffe notes:
“The first 3 years with CINS have flown by very quickly and it has been a privilege to work with a highly dedicated Board and a very active membership group as well as important industry stakeholders in support and advisory capacities, to prevent incidents in the Maritime Containerized Supply Chain. We have achieved good results and have been joined by several Carriers increasing our membership across the industry significantly. I am very happy and honored to be given the opportunity to continue CINS’ important work and dedicated efforts to progress further on our strategy in the next 3 years.”
