On 30 April, CINS and WNTI (the World Nuclear Transport Institute, which recently became an Honorary Member of CINS) hosted a joint Maritime Insurance, Liability and Operations Workshop. With some 30 participants, the aim of the workshop was to provide a better understanding for both parties on the insurance issues surrounding maritime shipments of class 7 radioactive material.
