CINS has recently published the latest of its Cargo Guidelines and Awareness Papers – the “CINS Waste Awareness Document”
The Contents of the paper includes:
- Classification – which cargoes must be declared as waste? What are the waste categories?
- Container Selection: reefer containers; and the carriage of waste with other cargoes in a container
- Container Packaging: packaging and quantity; and inspection of containers prior to carriage
