The Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) has won the prestigious Bureau International des Containers (BIC) 2017 BIC Award. Presented annually, the award honors an individual or organization for notable contributions to safety, security, standardization, or sustainability in containerized transportation.
CINS and the Container Owners Association have been working on the development of Guidelines for the Carriage of Cargoes in Non-Operating Reefers (NOR’s). The project has been sponsored by the TT Club.
Members will be aware that the CINS Technical Secretary is now producing monthly Cargo Incident Reports.
A total of 28 participants attended the 8th CINS Meeting in Marseille on Tuesday 13 June, hosted by CMA CGM.
Arrangements are now in place for the next CINS Meeting, which is being hosted by CMA CGM at its office in Marseille on Tuesday 13 June.
